Swifty standing/seating stool

Swifty follows the Sitness® principle: the stool supports students in staying in motion - both through its horizontal swing effect and through the regular alternation between sitting and supported standing.

Dynamic sitting with secure standing - the Swifty standing/sitting stool makes it possible.

The rounded base removes the rigid connection between the stool and the floor and creates an active, three-dimensional sitting experience with its 360° radius of movements. Because Swifty can be adjusted to a height of up to 76 cm, kids and teens can not only sit on it, but also lean against it in a high position, in other words sit while standing upright, so to speak. This makes it possible to work ergonomically while standing and also relieves the strain on the back. This improves the blood supply to the muscles and brain and thus noticeably increases well-being and the ability to concentrate.

 

Continuously adjustable standing/seating height

Thanks to a gas pressure spring specially designed for children, the height for sitting and supported standing is infinitely adjustable.

High-quality base

The foot of the chair made from high-quality, thermoplastic material is suitable for both soft and hard floors. For sensitive hard floors, we recommend the additional use of a floor protection mat.

 

High quality covers

The cover with honeycomb structure is made of 100 % recycled polyester from plastic bottles. It is highly durable (50,000 abrasion cycles/martindale) and certified according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. In addition, the fabric has a light fastness of 6 (corresponds to very good). Swifty’s white frame matches perfectly with the four colours of cover: raspberry, light blue, green and grey.
